Meeting with the Malaysian Minister of agriculture and food security

H.E. valiollah Mohammadi the Iran ambassador met with YB Datuk Seri Haji Mohamad Bin Sabu Minister agriculture and food security of Malaysia.

In this meeting, while referring to the sending of a draft memorandum of understanding on cooperation in the agricultural sector, the Iranian ambassador pointed out Iran's readiness to deepen relations in all fields of this industry.

The Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu said, he is very confident and believes that the MoU will provide a solid foundation for increasing cooperation between Malaysia and Iran in the field.

Meanwhile, Mohamad congratulated the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian on his victory in the recent election.

"I believe the existing close relationship between the two countries will continue under this new government," he said.

In addition, he also invited Nasrabadi and his delegation to participate in the Agriculture, Horticulture and Agro Tourism Exhibition (MAHA) 2024 which will take place in Serdang, Selangor from 11 to 22 September 2024.
