The Islamic Republic of Irans strong presence at the international exhibition LIMA 2025 in Malaysia
The 17th International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition in Malaysia, known as "LIMA 2025", opened on the island of "Langkawi" in northern Malaysia on May 20 to 24, 2025, in an area of 16,000 square meters and 860 booths (434 local and 426 international) from several countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran. More than 350,000 people, including 140 official delegations from 46 countries, are expected to visit the exhibition.
Our country's air and sea equipment, including models of various missile, anti-missile, defense systems, radar, naval equipment, warships, submarines, smart and guided bombs, have been displayed at this exhibition, which has been well received by visitors.
Malaysian government and military officials, including Defense Minister “Khalid Noordin”, Agriculture Minister “Mohammad Sebu” (former Defense Minister), and Deputy Defense Minister “Adli Zahari”, visited our country's pavilion at the exhibition. Our country's Ambassador to Malaysia, Mr. “Mohammadi”, also accompanied these ministers on this visit.
On the sidelines of the exhibition, Iran's ambassador also met with the Deputy Minister of Defense of Malaysia and discussed bilateral cooperation. The ambassador explained the latest status of bilateral relations with Malaysia and Iran’s defense equipment displayed at the exhibition in a conversation with some journalists present at the exhibition.
The Ministry of Defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran is participating in international defense exhibitions in Malaysia for the second consecutive year. Last year, it also participated in the Malaysian International Defense Equipment Exhibition "DSA 2024".
