Courtesy call with the Deputy Minister of Defense of Malaysia at Langkawi Island

Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Malaysia, met with Mr. Adli Zahari, Deputy Minister of Defense of Malaysia on May 22, 2025 on the sidelines of the Malaysian Maritime and Aerospace International Exhibition "Lima 2025" at the island of Langkawi, north of Kuala Lumpur. Both sides discussed ways to develop bilateral defense cooperation.

Mr. Mohammadi congratulated the Malaysian official on the successful holding of the exhibition and emphasized that given the capacities available in the two countries, there is a basis for developing cooperation. He considered participating in each other's exhibitions and exchanging delegations as a good basis for recognizing capabilities and developing cooperation.

Referring to the good relations between the two countries, Mr. Adli thanked the Islamic Republic of Iran for its presence in the exhibition and considered it important for recognizing the capabilities of our country. He described the defense achievements of the Islamic Republic of Iran as significant and important.
