Press Release of Embassy about armed attack of Zionist occupation regime on Iran

The Zionist occupation regime has been carrying out armed attacks on civilian sites and nuclear facilities of Iran since the morning of Friday, June 13, 2025, violating the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Iran. During these armed attacks on civilian sites, hundreds of innocent Iranian citizens, including women and children, and several nuclear scientists and military commanders, were injured or martyred. The Zionist occupation regime has a history of brutally killing civilians in Gaza.
The Zionist regime’s armed attacks on Iran are a clear violation of Article 2, Paragraph 4 of the United Nations Charter and a clear aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Also according to Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, the actions of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran are undoubtedly self-defense and legitimate and this self-defense will be carried out with all its might until the aggressor ends the armed attack.
The attack on the nuclear facilities of Iran, as a member committed to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT), by a regime that is not a member of the NPT is a clear violation of international law and a serious threat to world peace and security. It is essential that the international community condemn these attacks. This condemnation is essential to maintain the credibility of the non-proliferation regime and global stability.
The Islamic Republic of Iran expects independent governments unequivocally condemn this provocative and barbaric act and to take immediate, effective and collective measures to curb this dangerous adventure that severely threatens world peace and security.
We should appreciate the strong and clear positions of the Malaysian government, especially Prime Minister Dato’ Sri Anwar Ibrahim, as well as non-governmental organizations and popular figures for strongly condemning the armed attack of the Zionist regime on Iran.
