Deal to normalise ties with Israel is 'high treason

The International Union of Muslim Scholars condemned the agreement to normalise relations with Israel, which was mediated by the United States, describing it as high treason, and called on the Islamic nation to preserve the cause of Palestine.

The union said in a statement today, Friday, that the agreement between the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohammed bin Zayed, is a "high treason and a major reward for the crimes of the Zionist occupiers in Holy Jerusalem and against the Palestinians."
