Transfer of 3 Iranian prisoners from Malaysia to Iran

In line with the implementation of the prisoner exchange agreement between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Malaysia and with consular follow-ups, 3 Iranian nationals sentenced to imprisonment in Malaysia were transferred to the Islamic Republic of Iran to continue their sentences on Jan. 25, 2026.

Considering the previous transfer of 88 Iranian nationals sentenced to imprisonment in Malaysia to Iran, the total number of Iranian prisoners sentenced to imprisonment in Malaysia transferred to Iran, has reached 91.
