Meeting with Malaysian Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability

H.E. valiollah Mohammadi the Iran ambassador met with YB Tuan Nik Nazmi, Malaysian Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, on July 1. In this meeting, Mr. Mohammadi, referring to the existence of rich mineral resources in the two countries as well as common environmental hazards, described the fields of cooperation very widely.

The Malaysian minister, while congratulating the successful holding of the elections in Iran and confirming various common fields of cooperation between the two countries, also emphasized the need for developing countries to agree in international forums such as the UN environmental summits.
