On July 6, 2026, Valiollah Mohammadi, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Malaysia, met with deputy secretary General of food security of Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security. During these meeting that various departments  such as including FAMA, DVS, NAFAS, MARDI, DOF, and DOA participate, both sides engaged in comprehensive discussions to expand bilateral agricultural and economic cooperation between the two countries
