In the first 9 months of this solar year (March 21 to December 21, 2023), four billion and three hundred million dollars of Iranian food and agricultural products have been exported to 130 countries. According to the reports of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Iran has a significant position in the world's food supply and is among the major exporters of some food products.Among agricultural and food products, the most important export products of Iran are dairy products, fisheries, tomatoes, pistachios, pomegranates, watermelons, eggs, saffron, dates, figs, potatoes, apples, and peaches, and Iran is among the top 10 countries in the world in terms of exporting some of these products.
